SNAP Benefits: Eligibility (food)

Food Stamps can be kind of a hard phrase to have to swallow, especially if you are thinking you need to apply.  The TN Department of Human Services has a document that you can test your income limit and your other income resources to see if you qualify.  Of course when in doubt check out the section on how to apply.

For a family of 1 your gross income has to be less than 1180 and for a family of five your income less than 2836.
